International Golf: Stick with Arnaus in Oman…

There are a couple of golf tournaments to pique our attention this week, starting with the Oman Open on the European Tour.

This event struggles to attract the same quality field as others in this part of the world, and consequently we’re going to lean on one of our stable who has played well recently.

Adri Arnaus placed for us in Dubai and conditions are likely to be similar in Oman, with the wind blowing. We went each way with the talented Spaniard in Dubai, but that field was stronger. Just a win bet for us this time.

Similar to the Oman Open, the Honda Classic in the US doesn’t really get the field it deserves. Former number one Brooks Koepka leads the field, but he’s not in top form at the moment, and is best served.

Instead we’re going to side with Sungjae Im. The Korean will prefer the return to Florida from the west coast and back to Bermuda grass. He led here last year at the halfway point and performed reasonably well last week in Mexico.

Recommendations:

Arnaus to win Oman Open, 1 pt, at 25/1, widely available

Im to win Honda Classic, 1 pt, at 30/1, SkyBet

Arnaus and Im 0.5 pts each way double
