Wednesday Yankee: Brian is the Mussiah…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:  Pammi, (1640 Musselburgh), 1pt win, 4/1:

Consistent mare who runs this track well.  Was  a close 4th last time just behind Blooriedotcom so we get to multiply that form risk today.  Jockey Brian Hughes is gunning for as many winners as possible before champ Johnson returns from injury this weekend.

Blooriedotcom (1530 Musselburgh), 3/1:  has found his stride at this track lately with a win and a good second.  This race looks no harder than those and he looks sure to go close off a similar mark.

Family Fortunes, (1900 Kempton), 4/1:  a pretty frustrating type who need things to drop just right to win.  Fortunately this big field should guarantee some pace, he has a nice middle draw and an apprentice proving well worth his 7lb claim.

Dyagilev, (1930 Kempton), 3/1:  put in a fine performance when winning at Chelmsford recently.  Hasn’t been overly punished for that and very interesting that he also hold an entry back at Chelmsford tomorrow, an aggressive statement of intent.
