Thursday Yankee: Ask and we shall receive…

A nice winning nap at Musselburgh yesterday when Pammie (4/1), briefly lifted hopes by making us 2 from 2 on the day – legs 3 and 4 were close by we had to settle for the double.

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY: Ask Mary (1545 Clonmel), 1pt win, 4/1:

She finished a narrowly beaten 3rd when we picked her last week.  Has a 2lb pull with the winner there Ballea Fox and maybe able to make all on this occasion on a track that can favour pacesetters.

Moll Dote, (1510 Clonmel), 5/2:  Mare has looked an improved horse in her two runs this season.  Faded late on in her reappearance run at Gowran, and just failed to get up last time at Punchestown.  Up just 2lbs for beating 14 rivals there and this looks more winnable.

Bobo Mac, (1525 Ludlow), 7/2:  needs to turn around form with both Roll Again and Head To The Stars.  Roll Again won well here but his jumping went to pieces in his last two runs, whilst this shorter trip can help Bobo reverse form with Head To The Stars.

Kilconny Bridge, (1600 Ludlow), 6/4:  a promising mare who has won for us twice and can do so again.  Competes under a 7lb penalty for a good win last week.  That puts her fractionally well in but this looks an easier event and she can dominate.
