Premier League: On target, Virgil…

The late game Saturday sees Watford host Liverpool at Vicarage Road.

The Reds survived a scare against West Ham on Monday but are now only four wins away from the title. They will be keen to clinch their first crown in 30 years as quickly as possible, and this game represents another potential three points.

Watford received a bounce when Nigel Pearson was appointed as manager, but they are now without a Premier League win in five games.

Also worth noting is that Liverpool have forced the third highest number of corners in the league, and have the highest number of headed goals. With this in mind, we’re going to take a punt on giant central defender Virgil van Dijk having a header on target at William Hill’s enhanced 4/1 price.

The early game sees Brighton host Crystal Palace in what’s become known as the M23 derby.

The hosts have had a tough time of late putting chances away, and as a consequence are the only team in the Premier League without a win so far this calendar year.

Palace won last weekend against Newcastle and will be keen to carry this on. They have a couple of tricky wingers that can be dangerous on the break, and as a result we’ll take a punt on Palace’s penalty taker, Luka Milivojevic, scoring today.

Watford/Liverpool: Van Dijk to have a header on target, 1 pt, at 4/1, William Hill

Brighton/Crystal Palace: Milivojevic to score anytime, 1 pt, at 6/1, widely available
