NAP OF THE DAY: Cesar Et Rosalie, (1535 Doncaster), 1pt each way, 18/1:
A competitive handicap but one that might see an upset. Cesar Et Rosalie was on a roll late last season and has run reasonably upped in class this year. Was going ok when unseating last time and this track could be a perfect match.
Miranda, (1440 Newbury), 9/2: very closely matched with Elusive Belle on Kempton form, but the hugely valuable 5lb claim of jockey Bryan Carver could be crucial. He technically leaves Miranda just a couple of pound worse off for her 4l margin of victory and that can be enough to conform the form.
Mont Des Avaloirs, (1515 Newbury), 4/1: Novice who represents the Nicholls yard that farms this race. Gets united with Bryony Frost for the first time and she could be the key to unlocking his best form. The drop back in trip looks perfect.
Master Tommytucker, (1625 Newbury), 1/1: well this should be fun. Clearly the best horse here but three falls in his last four runs is the key stat. Whilst Newbury takes some jumping it lacks the rat-a-tat-tat of Kempton that has found him out the last twice. Bryony Frost takes the danger money here for the first time and she has few equals when it comes to getting a horse to jump well.
