Sunday sees the final of the Carabao Cup, with defending champions Manchester City taking on Aston Villa at Wembley.
This has all the potential to be a very one-sided match, after all City have won this tournament for the last two years and recently beat Villa 6-1 in the league.
City would probably have taken heart from Liverpool’s shock defeat yesterday, maybe the title race isn’t over, but they still have a mountain to climb to peg the Reds back. Still, one thing at a time, and this cup final should be theirs for the taking.
Kevin de Bruyne starred in midweek against Real Madrid, and we think he’s likely to do so again on the big stage. He’s 3/1 to be named man of the match, but we’ll take the 7/1 on offer that he scores from outside the penalty area.
