The big game of the FA Cup’s fifth round comes tonight from Stamford Bridge as Chelsea take on Liverpool.
Both teams have had recent setbacks. Chelsea struggled to a draw on the weekend against lowly Bournemouth after being beaten comprehensively by Bayern Munich midweek. Liverpool lost heavily at Watford on Saturday, their first defeat in the league this season.
It’s tempting to think it will be Liverpool that bounces back the stronger – after all they are still 22 points clear at the top of the table and have clearly been the best team in the league this season.
However, they have looked sluggish since returning from their winter break and it’s also debatable the strength of the side manager Jürgen Klopp picks.
Whatever sides are picked, both teams will want the win and tackles are likely to fly. With this in mind we’re going to side with Chelsea’s penalty taker Jorginho to score.
Recommendations: Jorginho to score anytime, 1 pt, at 6/1, Paddy Power
