Fresh from our success last weekend, there are a couple of tournaments to feast on, starting Thursday.
First up is the Qatar Masters at the Education City Golf Club. This is a new venue, described as a 7307-yard, par 71 course. Favourite for the event is Martin Kaymer who has a good record in this part of the world.
However, we’re going to side with Matthias Schwab. The young Austrian finished 17th in the Race to Dubai last year and we feel is on the verge of a breakthrough. We’ll take a punt this week.
The second event is the Arnold Palmer International, held at Bay Hill.
There’s an outstanding favourite for this tournament – Rory McIlroy. The Northern Irish Star won here in 2018 and arrives in red hot form. We think he has an outstanding chance this week, and put him up as a two point pick.
