Three winners yesterday for a nice return including the third winning nap in our last 4… lets try and keep the roll going right through the biggest week of the year…
The Daily Yankee
NAP OF THE DAY: Alminar, (1535 Warwick), 1pt win, 6/1:
Won nicely in the mud at Chepstow in January suggesting he’d go well over a long trip. Handles the mud well and could be a huge player if getting into a jumping rhythm on a course where that is hugely important
Arctic Gold, (1505 Warwick), 5/1: previously very useful for Nigel Twiston-Davies but has lost his way slipping to a tempting 115 before a fair third at Ludlow. Stayed on well there and has been switched to Fergal O’Brien who often improves acquisitions and likes nothing more that doing so with one from his old boss Nigel.
Cheb De Kerviniou (1515 Naas), 7/1: we backed him for the Punchestown National trial and he ran an excellent race before just losing out in third. This shorter trip may help and 10st bottom weight plus Rachael Blackmore is too good to miss. Can outstay the red-hot Castle Oliver.
Young Bull, (1640 Warwick), 9/2: has been progressing well for Harry Whittington including a gutsy handicap win last time. Steps up to a proper staying trip here which has long promised to unlock even more potential and can kick start a massive week for Harry in some style.
