PGA Tour: Poulter set to deliver…

The second tournament the PGA Tour has scheduled since the resumption (best not to talk about the first!) comes from Harbour Town in South Carolina, in the shape of the RBC Heritage.

Harbour Town is a tight course with tiny greens, and thus it’s accuracy rather than distance that counts, particularly with the short game.

One player that springs to mind that will be suited by this course is Ian Poulter. The Englishman showed he was playing well last week by finishing in the top 30, despite being outgunned off the tee. A good putting weekend could see Poults go close.

Our second selection is Patrick Reed. Like our first pick, Reed came close last week, finishing in the top seven. We think this course will play even more into Reed’s strengths given his excellent short game, and expect him to go even closer this week.

Recommendations:

Poulter 0.5 pts each way at 70/1, 1/5 the odds for the first eight places, William Hill

Reed 0.5 pts each way at 28/1, 1/5 the odds for the first eight places, William Hill
