The PGA Tour heads to Connecticut this week, with TPC River Highlands hosting the Travelers Championship.
For the last two weeks the courses have been tight and tree-lined, but this course should favour the big hitters off the tee much more.
The two players with real length off the tee that we have been impressed with over the last fortnight are Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau.
These two top the bookies list (along with Rory McIlroy) justifiably, and we’re going to side with JT as we think he has a touch more class. The field is priced almost like a major, with the favourites at 12/1. We think this offers real value, given the field lacks that depth. Time for a two point punt!
Recommendations:
Justin Thomas to win, 2 points, at 12/1, widely available
