The big game in the Premier League tonight sees new champion Liverpool travel to the Etihad to take on Manchester City, the former champion.
This game is tricky to call, as league clashes between these two sides have been fiercely contested of late.
Both teams will be keen to win, but Liverpool at 11/4 seems a very large price. They will be keen to confirm the title win against their closest rivals, the will be rested and will be records hunting for the rest of the season.
City are a class team, no doubt. But they showed defensive liabilities against Chelsea, they had to play a FA Cup game over the weekend and are missing star striker Sergio Aguero.
It’s Liverpool for us.
The earlier game sees Sheffield United take on Tottenham at Bramall Lane.
The Blades have had a tricky restart. They haven’t won a game, losing their last two 3-0, and are yet to score a league goal. It’s tricky to see where their next win comes from.
Tottenham dispatched West Ham fairly easily last time out, with goal ace Harry Kane scoring his first goal since his return from injury. We think they will have too much for the Blades.
Recommendations:
Liverpool and Tottenham both to win as a double, 1 pt, at approximately 11/2
You put Blades in the double 🙂 you might be right! Long suffering Yid! 🙂
