The Premier League continues its spring to the finishing line, with three more games Thursday.
First up is Bournemouth against Tottenham at the Vitality Stadium. The visitors start as favourites despite struggling to look good for most of the restart. That’s because the hosts are in a bad space at the moment.
Bournemouth have lost five in a row and come off conceding five against Manchester United. They seem to have lost their way and are conceding too many goals.
That said, they need to win and will press men forward in that aim. We think Spurs will pick Bournemouth off, and expect the visitors to win with both teams scoring.
The late game sees Aston Villa host Manchester United at Villa Park.
Villa were unlucky in defeat at Anfield over the weekend, eventually succumbing 2-0. They sat in and tried to catch Liverpool on the break, a plan that almost succeeded.
However, they are at home tonight, need the win and thus may try to make more of the running. That will leave Villa open to the counter from United’s pacy forwards.
We are going to side with Marcus Rashford to net first, and with take the 9/2 on offer at William Hill.
Recommendations:
Tottenham to win with both teams scoring, 1 pt, at 5/2, William Hill
Rashford to score first for Manchester United, 1 pt, at 9/2, William Hill
