There are a couple of early games to enjoy the Premier League today day, starting with Norwich hosting West Ham.
Both teams were defeated midweek, but it’s the Hammers that we feel have the potential to stay in the division. They lost at Burnley, but will feel they could have got something out of the game.
Norwich are down, they are lacking confidence and they are ripe for the taking.
West Ham’s midfielder Tomas Soucek has been one of the bright spots in a poor season for the Hammers, and a price of 4/1 for him to score anytime is a steal. Get on.
Next up Watford take on Newcastle at Vicarage Road.
This is a tricky game to call, Newcastle were poor against Manchester City midweek and have a few injuries, but they have generally done well this season. Watford, on the other hand, have had a poor season, but did manage an important win against Norwich midweek.
We’re not sure how this game is going to go, so we’re going with a player based suggestion. Craig Dawson scored an important header on Tuesday and has been a constant threat all season. Newcastle defensively looked suspect against City, and we’ll take a punt on the 18/1 on offer that he scores a header today.
Saturday’s three remaining games see strong favourites in Liverpool at home to Burnley, Chelsea away at Sheffield United and Manchester City at Brighton.
We’ll take Liverpool and City to win by more than one goal, and Chelsea just to win as a treble.
