There are a couple of Premier League matches to enjoy this Sunday, and hopefully subscribers can again collect the cash as they did on Saturday.
First up sees a south coast derby as Bournemouth host Southampton.
This one is tricky to call. Although Bournemouth have won just once in their last 11 league games they have shown signs of form recently, and they desperately need to win. Southampton have been playing well, are unbeaten in their last five and have been performing particularly well away from home, although they have had a day less to rest.
We think there are likely to be goals in this game, and we note with interest the SkyBet offers of 11/2 for both Callum Wilson and Danny Ings to score today.
But we can’t get away from how impressive Ings has been this season. He’s scored 20 league goals, just three behind Jamie Vardy in the race for the Golden Boot, with 11 of these coming away from home. We’ll take Ings to open the scoring today.
The late game sees Tottenham host Leicester.
We’re going to side with the hosts to win this match. Spurs have had a difficult season, and are going to miss out on the top four places, but they have started to play a bit better of late.
It’s the other way with Leicester. They were one of the star sides before the shutdown, but have been very inconsistent since the restart.
Star striker Harry Kane has made his traditional slow start (Fantasy Football players know to leave him alone in August), but scored twice last time out. We’ll side with Harry to score first.
Recommendations:
Bournemouth/Southampton: Ings to score first, 1 pt, at 4/1, Paddy Power
Tottenham/Leicester: Kane to score first, 1 pt, at 9/2, William Hill
