Kerching !! 50/1 Yankee relief !!

Kudos to those subscribers who have stuck through a Summer yankee drought. After the deluge that was June, it was slim pickings in much of July and August – but thank the Lord for September – new month, new luck.

Today’s Daily Yankee was more of a Trixie after the early withdrawal of Lion’s Vigil, but that didn’t hinder the returns.

First up was recent Ayr unlucky loser Mustaqbal (9/2 SP) who made no mistake this time with a cost win at Ripon.

Still at Ripon and our far rail theory for the sprint course was finally borne out when the well backed Abel Handy (11/2 early, 7/2 SP) made all the running down the far side.

All eyes then on concluding leg and Nap of the Day, Lucky Lucky Man (7/1 early, 3/1SP) at rain soaked Hamilton, and he thankfully lived up to his name when forging ahead to land the spoils.

At early odds that is a c70/1 return – which rights a lot of wrongs and then some. In volatile markets, even at stingy SPs it was a 30/1 return. We figure most backers would have been somewhere in between and split the difference and call it 50/1. Either way, it’ll take a while to count it !!

Hopefully, one swallow does not a summer make….

Stay tuned
