NFL: Conner to stun the Big Apple…

The early game in the NFL tonight sees the New York Giants hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers in an empty MetLife Stadium.

The Giants are starting again once more, after winning just nine games in their last two seasons. They have a new head coach, in Joe Judge, and will have to put a new game plan together with very little practice time.

The Steelers didn’t make the playoffs last season, but they had to struggle without experienced quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for most of the season after he underwent surgery on his throwing elbow.

Big Ben is now back, and we think that is enough to suggest the Steelers should win this game.

However, the Steelers game plan could well involve making sure the quarterback is hit as infrequently as possible. With this in mind, we’re going to side with running back James Conner to score the opening touchdown, with Big Ben handing off to him as much as possible.

Recommendation:

Conner (Pittsburgh) to score first touchdown, 1 pt, at 7/1, bet365
