NAP OF THE DAY: Indian Sounds, (1505 Leicester), 1pt win, 6/4:
Has been in great form of late and took another leap forward when running away with a race at Beverley last week. Form there doesn’t always translate but he looks too well in to ignore here under a modest penalty.
Quanah, (1525 Hamilton), 10/3: has been in form all Summer and doesn’t have much room for error off this rating, but seems to like this track, and goes on the ground and that could be enough in a typically ordinary Monday event.
Daawy, (1555 Hamilton), 6/1: has some pretty good form in the past and rating continues to drop sharply. Ran pretty well at York last time when only just behind today’s favourite Nietzsche and looks value to turn that around.
Ascraeus, (1605 Leicester), 5/2: has been knocking on the door in this grade and now has the combination of a weak field and first time cheekpieces and that could be enough to make the small difference needed to get her head in front.
