A great and varied week kicked off with the astonishing win of our Tour de France pick Tadej Pogacar landing a tasty 14/1 win for cycling fans and blog fans (a small but committed niche !!).
Returns were augmented by a good week on the football side. The James Rodriguez from outside the box strike at 10/1 starting the week in fine fashion, whilst the 5/1 for a Daniel Podence assist on Monday ensured profits were preserved.
But where were the horses! Well they were waiting for today’s Daily Yankee.
Our Nap of the Day started us off in fine style, Cloak Of Spirits (4/1) pricing a brave winner at Newmarket.
Next was 2000 Guineas winner Kameko (11/4 early, 85/40 SP) who also gutsed it out bravely for a first win since.
Hopes of a stellar return were dashed by a messy run for third leg Nakeeta, but last leg Hesslewood (17/2) defied an alarming drift in the market, and a similarly wild drift across the course to finally get us on the right end of a close finish.
A circa 25/1 return on total staked, and rounding out a great week all to round for the blog.
Stay tuned for a big tip an Newmarket tomorrow, a new angle to the NFL on Sunday, and the prospect of our first ever 3pt maximum bet on football on Monday…..
