The early game this Saturday sees West Ham host Manchester City, with the visitors looking for three points to cement their position as favourites for the title.
They won’t have it easy against a West Ham side that battled well to come back from 3-0 down against Spurs to gain a point. But let’s not forget they were outplayed for large parts of that game. A similar performance could see City run up a few goals.
Raheem Sterling scores a hat trick here last season in a 5-0 win, and we’ll look for the winger/forward to net again today.
We’ll leave the Fulham/Crystal Palace game alone, as that has snooze written all over it, and next focus on Manchester United against Chelsea.
United had a stunning win against PSG in midweek and will enter this match brimming with confidence. Both sides have had issues defensively to contend with, and that would tend to suggest a high scoring game.
Both Marcus Rashford and Timo Werner arrive in goal scoring form, but we’re going to side with midfield maestro Bruno Fernandes to net today.
The final match sees Liverpool take on Sheffield United at Anfield.
The visitors have really struggled so far to match the heights of last season, and currently lie one place off the foot of the table with one point and having scored only two goals.
Liverpool managed to claim a clean sheet midweek against Ajax, but there are still issues defensively for United to capitalise on. That said, their famed front three were all substituted after 60 minutes against Ajax, so they should all be fresh for this clash.
We think Sheffield could cause Liverpool some problems front set pieces, but the Reds should create plenty of chances going the other way. In Sadio Mane Liverpool have a player in top form, and we’ll take him to score today.
