Premier League: Time for Timo…

Chelsea start the call rolling in the Champions League this evening, as they take on Russian side Krasnodar.

The Blues drew their first game at home to Sevilla in the opening round of fixtures, and thus need a win against these Champions League debutants.

Timo Werner has pace to burn, is likely to be able to hit Krasnodar on the break, and has also attempted the most shots this season for Chelsea. He hit a brace recently against Southampton, and we’ll take SkyBet’s enhanced 5/1 that he scores two tonight.

The late game sees Manchester United hosting RB Leipzig at Old Trafford. The Red Devils were excellent in beating PSG in the last round of games, but they have been pretty poor at home – losing heavily to Crystal Palace and Tottenham and were pretty insipid against Chelsea.

United have lost four of their last six home games in the Champions League, while RB Leipzig have won four of their last five away games, drawing the other.

United may prove us wrong, but we think the value lies with the visitors tonight. Marcel Sabitzer is Leipzig’s set piece specialist, and we’ll take SkyBet’s 14/1 that he scores from outside the penalty area.

Krasnodar/Chelsea: Werner to score a brace, 1 pt, at 5/1, SkyBet

Manchester United/RB Leipzig: Sabitzer to score outside the penalty area, 1 pt, at 14/1, SkyBet
