There’s a Premier League game to enjoy tonight, as Wolves host Crystal Palace.
Palace’s last two matches have been very different – they only had one shot in open play against Brighton whole they scraped a 1-1 draw, while they looked like scoring for fun in beating Fulham 2-1 last weekend.
We think Wolves’s defensive prowess will mean tonight’s game resembles the Brighton match more closely than the Fulham variety.
It’s very tempting to take Wolves to win after a goalless first half, as seems to often be the case, but instead we’re going to side with Raul Jimenez to open the scoring.
Wolves best Palace 2-0 last season, and we look for something similar tonight, while Jimenez has already scored four league goals this season. Importantly, he also takes penalties.
Recommendation:
Jimenez to score first, 1 pt, at 7/2, William Hill
