The Premier League teams were impressive in the Champions League last night, and now the spotlight falls on Manchester United and Chelsea to try and continue the good work.
United travel to Turkey to take on Istanbul Basaksehr, who have lost their opening two group games, the exact opposite of his United have progressed. It can be tricky predicting which United team will turn up, but they have been impressive in the Champions League, and we’ll take them to win again.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may use this game to give some of his fringe players some game time. Donny van de Beek joined in a high profile deal, and will be keen to prove his worth. We’ll take him to score today.
Chelsea take on Rennes later in the evening, and will be heavy favourites to beat the French side who are on a five-game losing streak away from home in major European competitions.
The Blues went on a spending spree in the summer, with one of the new additions being Hakim Ziyech. He has recovered from an early injury to show signs of class, scoring and assisting a goal against Burnley over the weekend. We’ll take him to score tonight.
