The Premier League continues Sunday, with the first game being a clash between Leeds and Burnley.
The hosts have impressed everyone with their attacking intent this season, but they have struggled with defending set pieces. An opposing central defender has scored in each of Leeds’ last four games, and we’ll take a punt on his run continuing given the injuries they are suffering at the back.
SkyBet offers an enhanced 18/1 that James Tarkowski scores a header, and we’ll be on that.
The next game sees West Ham host Brighton, but we’re struggling to see a betting angle. Instead we’ll move on to Liverpool against West Brom at Anfield.
The Reds enter the game fresh off a 7-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace and after a relatively rare eight day break at this time of the season. They will be eager to play.
The Baggies have just made a change in manager, with Sam Allardyce taking control. He was the last manager to take three points from Anfield, in April 2017 while in control of Crystal Palace, but it’s difficult to see any other result but a home win today.
Mohamed Salah was rested for the trip to Crystal Palace, but still showed his hunger for goals by netting twice as a late substitute. We think he will see this as an opportunity to advance his Golden Boot claims, and look for a shoot in sight policy. As such, we’ll take him to open the scoring.
The late game sees Tottenham traveling to Wolves, hoping for their first league win in four games.
This could be a cagey affair, but with Wolves missing leading scorer Raul Jimenez we prefer to lean on the Tottenham partnership of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. The pair have combined for 20 of Tottenham’s 25 league goals this season, and we’ll take a punt on the Korean scoring first.
Leeds/Burnley: Tarkowski to score a header at 18/1
Liverpool/West Brom: Salah to score first at 12/5
Wolves/Spurs: Son to score first at 4/1
