Monday Yankee: We’re fans of the Hou…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:  Lihou, (1310 Lingfield), 1pt win, 4/1:
Went off favourite in a hot race here last time against a number of these but finished a close third after trying a daring run up the rarely favoured rail.  Is drawn wide here, but with blistering speed in the two stalls inside, he is well placed to drop in behind them and use the more well trodden centre track route off the home bend, which should be ideal.

Noble Queen (1210 Lingfield), 5/2:   Lightly raced for here age and won her handicap debut in just her 4th start.  That was over a mile and next time she stayed on late over 7f.  This move back up to a mile is sure to suit and with her rivals substantially more exposed, she represents the one chance of a potential improver provided she handles this turning track.

Caribeno, (1540 Lingfield), 10/3:  looked a typical Mark Prescott improving stayer when building on his handicap debut by thrashing a poor field at Catterick.  Hasn’t been seen since and has had a wind operation, but the stable are experts in placing horses and it is very likely that he will be sharp enough to take this.

Inevitable Outcome, (1650 Wolverhampton), 7/4:   burst back to form with an easy win here last time.  When a filly hits form she can be worth following and with a favourable inside draw everything looks in place for a repeat.
