The Daily Yankee
NAP OF THE DAY: Jumira Bridge, (1245 Wolverhampton), 1pt win, 5/2:
Once very classy but has slipped hugely down the weights during a terrible run of form. That looked like it had finally bottomed out when off today’s mark of 59 he caught light at Newcastle only for the line to come a stride or two too soon. Looks to have a huge chance of that renaissance can be trusted.
Top Boy, (1420 Wolverhampton), 5/1: You’d struggle to find a less progressive selection than an 11yo having his 105th start off a career low mark. But Top Boy has finally hit some form and it is a damning indictment of this event that he represents by far the most enticing prospect.
Toronado Queen (1450 Wolverhampton), 9/4: won back to back events in the Autumn and has shown on two good recent runs that she is up to defying this higher mark. Connor Murtagh is well worth his claim and she should go in again here.
Dubai Tigress, (1710 Kempton), 4/1: was fancied here recently but had very little luck before staying on for fifth. Should be able to make big strides towards reversing that form with a clearer run.
