There is one more Premier League game to enjoy this evening, with Arsenal hosting Crystal Palace at the Emirates.
All the talk about Arsenal being in relegation trouble seems a long time ago. The Gunners may have needed extra time to beat Newcastle in the FA Cup on Saturday, but that is four wins in a row in all competitions.
Palace, by contrast, are struggling – recording just one win in their last seven games, and that was against Sheffield United, the team at the bottom of the league.
This all points to a home win, something we agree with. Arsenal’s last league game saw them dismiss West Brom in comprehensive style, winning 4-0 away from home. French striker Alexandre Lacazette scored twice on that occasion, and he has provided a cutting edge during a period when his captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been goal-shy.
SkyBet offers 22/1 that Lacazette scores a header tonight, but we’ll side with him opening the scoring – a 9/2 shot with Paddy Power.
Recommendations:
Lacazette to score first, 1 pt, at 9/2, Paddy Power
