Tuesday Yankee: Don can be the one

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY: Don Herbager, (1545 Exeter), 1pt win, 11/4:

Has made a decent start to his chasing career.  Ran an unusual race when we napped him at Ffos Las last time, looking like he got outpaced before staying on again just too late to get up.  This stiff test should suit and he appeals more than Ballybreen who is 7lbs up for a 32l win, but that was tragically poor event.

Centurion Song, (1640 Southwell), 3/1:  won well on course debut last time with a big gap between the first two and the rest.  Up 4lbs but is pretty lightly raced and more open to improvement than many of these.

Fly True, (1740 Southwell), 3/1:  very much a course specialist last winning here in Jan 2020 off today’s mark.  Signalled a return to form last time when not quite catching a front runner.  Travelled very well there and can go one better if jockey Nicky Mackay can better time his challenge.

Beach Break, (1940 Southwell), 1/1:  went very close here last week with the rest of the field tailed off.  Escapes any rise for that and should be a banker bet to anchor the Yankee.
