Premier League: Eze peasy…

The Premier League weekend continues Monday night, with Leeds hosting Crystal Palace at Elland Road.

The hosts are strongly favoured to win tonight, but they remain very inconsistent. Marcelo Bielsa’s team were awful in their defeat to Brighton and average in their win over Newcastle. They were brilliant in victory over Leicester and were the better side for much of their defeat against Everton.

Palace are looking to win three consecutive league matches for the first time since a four-game sequence last June, but will have to do so without Wilfried Zaha. They have failed to score a single goal in their last eight matches without their star man in the starting 11.

Leeds are likely to win tonight, but we’re struggling to back them at odds on given their inconsistency. Instead we’re going to take a punt on Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze. He scored in the reverse fixture in November and is likely to be in the middle of all that is creative for the London side. He has scored twice from outside the penalty area this season, and we’ll take a punt that he does so again tonight, at a hefty 25/1.
