The Premier League weekend starts early, with Wolves hosting Leeds tonight.
Wolves have been stuck in the bottom half of the table for a few months now, but they have picked up a bit in the last couple of weeks – taking seven points from their last three games.
They now face a Leeds team which has quickly become one of the most entertaining teams in the league. Leeds tend to attack with gusto and should create chances, but the absence of midfielder Kalvin Phillips means their defence has suffered on the counter-attack. Arsenal scored four with relative ease last weekend.
We would side with Wolves to win tonight’s game, but are reluctant to bet on that given the unpredictability of this Leeds team. However, we note that Paddy Power is offering 9/2 that Ruben Neves scores anytime tonight. He has scored in two of Wolves’s last three fixtures and is their regular penalty taker. Leeds have kept just one clean sheet in their past seven.
