The Premier League continues Monday evening, with a potentially exciting clash between Leeds and Liverpool at Elland Road.
The two sides played out an enthralling 4-3 game at Anfield at the start of the season, and this game could easily follow a similar path. Leeds come into the game on the back of an impressive 2-1 victory of champion-elect Manchester City, and are looking to win four top-flight games in a row within the same season for the first time since April 2001.
Liverpool were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid last week, but have won three consecutive league games for just the second time this season. The Reds have also won five of their last six away league games, which is more than they had in their previous 15 on the road.
That said, Liverpool have shown a vulnerability when teams are prepared to have a go at them this season, the approach Leeds have taken to most games, and they are very short in the betting. The value lies with Leeds.
Stuart Dallas scored twice from an advanced midfield role against City last time out, and could easily cause Liverpool’s midfielders trouble with his runs. He’s an impressive 9/1 to score anytime with Paddy Power, and we’ll take a bit of that in what could be an offensive treat.
