Chelsea return to the Premier League this evening, and after last week’s Champions League and FA Cup heroics and they will be aiming to continue their fine form against Brighton at Stamford Bridge.
Brighton have only won twice in nine league matches, while the Blues have won all six competitive home fixtures against Albion, scoring 14 goals without reply.
Chelsea’s defence shut out Manchester City in Saturday’s 1-0 FA Cup semi-final win and it could well be a similar story when they host a Brighton side whose lack of cutting edge up front has been a problem all season. That said, Chelsea haven’t been scoring for fun either, and their players may be tempted to shoot on sight.
Mason Mount has been in great form for Chelsea this season, with 40 of his shots coming from outside the area. Paddy Power offers 3/1 that the England midfielder has at least one shot on target from outside the box, and we think that represents great value (as long as he is picked!).
