NAP OF THE DAY: Stake Acclaim, (1321 Windsor), 1pt win, 9/2:
Finished 2019 rated 104, but it’s been downhill since. Finally ran better at Chelmsford last time off just 73 and is dropped a further pound here. Has excellent course form and if he is to rejuvenate then this is the most likely venue.
Blissful Dream, (1421 Beverley), 6/1: followed a much improved Southwell win when overhauled late on over an extra furlong against Catterick. Has a decent draw here and should go well if able to get to the front early.
Capote’s Dream, (1431 Windsor), 9/4: in flying form including when a good second here last time. Had no chance with a very well-in winner then but beat some pretty decent rivals. This looks weaker and he should be another winning for the in-form Tom Marquand.
Noble Masquerade, (1651 Windsor), 2/1: Pretty lightly raced for his age, but from sire whose stick tend to improve with age. That looked the case on his reappearance at Nottingham when repeated hampered last on and yet still a decent third. Gets the superb Marquand on the saddle and there should be no mistakes this time.
