Thursday’s big game sees Denmark take on Belgium in Copenhagen, with their players looking to put the trauma of Saturday behind them.
Denmark were subdued in the second half of their 1-0 loss to Finland, understandably so given the events in the first half surrounding their talisman Christian Eriksen. They can play a lot better, but will need to do so against the team ranked no.1 in the world.
Belgium were utterly dominant against Russia, winning 3-0 without breaking sweat, and could even be enhanced by the return of Kevin de Bruyne and possibly Eden Hazard.
That said, in Romelu Lukaku, Belgium have a striker who is at the very top of his game at the minute. He is Belgium’s all-time top scorer with 62 goals and netted a brace in his country’s opener against Russia. We’ll take the enhanced 8/1 from SkyBet that he repeats the feat this evening.
