The PGA Tour heads east this week, with the Zozo Championship being held this year at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Japan.
This tournament is the biggest money event of the fall, but Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele are the only top-10 golfers teeing up.
We sided with Schauffele last week, and he finished strong to finished tied 18th, but the play of Morikawa really caught our eye. The young American finished fourth in approach shots and eighth overall from tee to green in the best field of the fall. Another good putting week and he’ll surely improve on last week’s second place.
Back on the European Tour, Spain remains the destination for a third week with the Mallorca Open taking place at Santa Ponsa.
Wide fairways will suit those who hit it far off the tee, a totally different test to Valderrama last week, and more akin to the course that Adri Arnaus did so well in a couple of weeks ago.
We won some each way money on Arnaus then, and will try to do so again this week.
Zozo: Morikawa to win, 1 pt, at 15/2, William Hill
Mallorca Open: Arnaus 0.5 pts each way at 25/1, 1/5 the odds for the first six places, William Hill
