Was on a hat trick when run down late on over this track last time. This looks an easier opportunity and he was well ahead of the rest suggesting he can get back to winning ways.
Shyjack, (1250 Kempton), 13/2: we were on Channel Packet last week and whilst he ran well he didn’t do enough to warrant being a short price here. Shyjack has a course win, and showed some form at Chelmsford last time and looks the better value.
Tomshalfbrother, (1535 Kempton), 8/1: good reason on surface or draw to be cautious about the head of this market. Tomshalfbrother has some useful all weather form and a handy draw. A big gap since his last run is rarely an issue for his stable.
Princess T, (1610 Kempton), 10/1: unexposed on the flat and ran pretty we for third behind today’s hot favourite. Reversing that form looks a tall order, but there is a 7lb turn in the ratings and an extra 3 furlongs and that at least gives her a fighting chance at a decent price.
