We have posted a daily yankee for four years now religiously (as it tends to test faith without evidence)…however our experience of previous years has told us that from early Jan until the Cheltenham Festival in mid March, quality jump racing tends to distill into weekend action only with a defined road to Cheltenham.
The quality of midweek racing is consequently dire (especially in the UK), and often on bad ground. Rather than resort to a risky diet of all weather racing and Plumpton, this year we are going to limit our horse racing yankees to weekends from now until Cheltenham. There may be the occasional midweek nap for a handful of races of note.
In the meantime we will be doubling our efforts to be as prepped for Cheltenham as possible….
