The Premier League weekend kicks off early Saturday afternoon with a potential classic North London derby, as league leaders Arsenal host third-placed Tottenham.
The Gunners have started the season very well, winning six out of seven league games, and have looked a team reborn. That said, Spurs are only a point behind them, and have looked a far more threatening outfit under Antonio Conte, particularly on the counter-attack.
We think there could be goals in this match, and can’t help be impressed with Harry Kane‘s record in this fixture. The England captain Kane has scored 13 in 15 matches against Arsenal in the league, and he is in prime form, having netted in eight of his last ten league games. We’ll take a punt he scores a brace today, at 11/1.
The late game comes from the London Stadium, as West Ham host fellow strugglers Wolves.
The Hammers have had a difficult start to the season, but had a strong home record last season, amassing 32 points from 19 games, and there is no reason why they cannot return to those standards, particularly after being refreshed with the international break.
They always cause problems from set pieces, and now face a Wolves side that is missing much of its defensive experience through injury and suspension. Craig Dawson always interests us as an anytime goalscorer option, but fellow central defender Kurt Zouma is an even bigger price at 14/1.
Recommendations:
Arsenal/Tottenham: Kane to score twice, 1 pt, at 11/1, SkyBet
West Ham/Wolves: Zouma to score anytime, 1 pt, at 14/1, Paddy Power
