Longchamp Yankee: Bubble trouble for Arc favourites….

The Daily Yankee:

NAP OF THE DAY:  Bubble Gift, (1505 Longchamp), 1pt ew, 33/1:

In what looks far from a vintage renewal of the Arc, it s no surprise to see the massive odds of this fella trimmed in recent days.  At 33s or bigger in places, he still looks a good each way play as he looked a little unlucky to be only 8th in this last year as a 3yo.  Has been consistent, albeit consistently beaten this year, but this is a unique test and with the ground testing he could easily spring a surprise.

Kelina, (1350 Longchamp), 7/2:  one of the few races on the card where the domestic squad might have the upper hand.  This Frankel filly looks sure to be suited by this test and can get the better of Wed.

Insinuedo, (1550 Longchamp ), 20/1:  not convinced favourite Nashwa wants it so soft and that can open the door to a surprise.  Insinuendo was o my a neck behind the well fancied Above The Curve last time and on a turning track that can suit her style and on a soft surface she is value to create a shock.

Moss Tucker, (1625 Ascot), 40/1:  a Group 1 dash with a history of shock results.  A slightly lower draw may have been ideal but Moss Tucker’s Irish form when it has ridden soft has been his best and he is not far behind the beat of this motley bunch even on good ground form.  Probably doesn’t deserve to be so written off in the market.
