The Premier League game this Monday evening pits bottom club Leicester against 19th-placed Nottingham Forest, with both sides clearly desperate for points.
Leicester have taken just one point from their opening seven games, a draw on the opening weekend against Brentford. They have actually played quite well at times, but they have defended poorly both from set-pieces and open play.
Forest have fared slightly better, collecting 4 points including a win in their second outing against West Ham. However, they too have been very open at times, with a total of 16 goals scored in their last three outings. Excitement seems almost guaranteed this evening, but we fancy Leicester’s extra experience at this level to get the hosts the three points.
James Maddison seems to have returned to the form that forced his way into the England squad, scoring 7 goals and assisting in 4 others in his last 10 Premier League matches. We expect him to dominate proceedings, and will take the 11/2 on offer that he is named man of the match.
Leicester/Notts Forest: Maddison to be named man of the match, 1 pt, at 11/2, William Hill
