Saturday Yankee: Young love….

The Daily Yankee:

NAP OF THE DAY:  Young Fire, (1320 Doncaster), 10/1:  2pts win,

Superb trainer David O’Meara continues to plunder these prizes week after week.  Young Fire should love conditions having registered all 5 turf wins when the mud was flying.  Has slipped to a very fair mark, and with the Autumn rains in his favour looks send to  land this prize.

The Hollow Ginge, (1405 Cheltenham), 3/1:  we were on this fella for this race last year and he looked like a winner for a long way before being narrowly beaten.  Stable runner always go well fresh and he can make amends.

Came From The Dark, (1610 Doncaster ), 5/1:   Not many cope well with truly heavy ground.  We will be frustrated if Count D’Orsay finally lands a big pot, but under these conditions it’s the proven mudlark and class act Came From The Dark that makes the more appeal under his useful 3lb claiming apprentice.

Zip, (1645 Doncaster), 5/1: another whose form has deserted him of late but go back and you will see strong efforts on soft ground.  Back on that surface and much lower at the weights he has an excellent chance of bursting back to life.
