The Saturday Yankee:
NAP OF THE DAY: Rathmacknee, (1440 Kempton), 1pt each way, 18/1 (6 places):
Not often that you can back a Nicky Henderson trained contender at a big price from the foot of the weights after an easy last time out win. Clearly this fella has to improve further but after just a handful of runs that potential is clearly there and the 3lb rise for an easy win last time looks very fair. Should enjoy this flat track.
Cayd Boy, (1412 Fairyhouse), 9/4: Gets in at the bottom of the weights and surely is ready to win one of these. Finished fourth behind several of these last time at this track. Looked the likely winner there but a bad mistake late on and a slow jump at the last was enough to scupper his chances. Has to be more fluent this time, but has the race at his mercy off this mark if able to put in a good round.
Guetepan Collonges, (1500 Warwick), 6/1: Mr Incredible has to be respected on only his second start for maestro Mullins but he has letters galore in his form including a refusal to race. Guetepan is the other runner here with plenty of potential to be ahead in the weights and should go well from the foot of the handicap.
Glimpse Of Gala, (1535 Warwick), 3/1: this steadily improving mare looks very interesting since she stepped up further in trip. All her best form has come on soft ground including a course win and she was never better than in the final stages last time at Kempton. Needs to win to boost her mark if she wants to make the final of this series at Cheltenham and should benefit form her low weight in this mud.
