Tuesday Yankee: Ure welcome…

Can we keep up the momentum?….

The Daily Yankee:

NAP OF THE DAY:  Uretheonethatiwant, (1410 Ffos Las), 1pt win, 5/2:

Won smoothly when we tipped him at Kempton last time and we won’t be deserting him here.  This looks a lesser race and the style of his win at Kempton belied the small margin and the 3lb rise is extremely generous.  Should win this with ease.

Night Of Sin, (1430 Leicester), 7/2:  has form that looks inconsistent, but might be excused some recent failures at longer trips.  Was a stone higher over hurdles at one point, and took a step back in the right direction when staying on well to win last time. Just 5lbs up here and could be a marriage made in heaven with the powerful Sam Twiston- Davies.

Baratineur, (1510 Ffos Las), 7/2:   A big field of horses who find it hard to win, none of whom is a finer example than Baratineur.  Swaps northern England for west Wales in search of a change of luck and may just have found the right race.  Invariably travels well, and that often matters at this track, and can finally come good if held on to for a late run.

It’s All About Me, (1650 Catterick), 3/1:  this mare had shown precious little in 11 previous lifetime runs before looking a likely winner here on New Year’s Day.  A costly blunder left her young jockey without her irons yet they were only caught in the shadow of the post.  When a mare hits form she can progress quickly and with the experienced Alain Cawley on board she can defy a 7lb hike.
