Tuesday Yankee: Storm brewing…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:  Storm Dreamer, (1850 Wetherby), 1pt win, 14/1:

He hasn’t shown much form and 11th of 15 here last time suggests no better.  That is misleading as he met every bit of trouble going that day and was clearly good for a lot better.  Looks a big price if he gets better luck this time.

Corndavon Lad, (1830 Ayr), 3/1:  seemingly exposed but put in a lifetime best when edging home here last time.  Up 5lb for that but with the second and third both winning since that starts to look fairly generous.

Hong Kong Harry,  (1935 Ayr), 6/4:   Won here narrowly enough last time but hasn’t been too punished as a result.  Ran a bit freely there on only his fourth run but was always going to win.  Can improve further for that experience and although. A short price here he has more than earned that status.

Sir Titus, (2025 Wetherby), 7/2:   Has to be the least exposed of these after three all weather runs culminating in a smooth maiden win last time.  A mark in the mid-70s is guesswork, and he has to have scope to be better than that and is worth a punt on this turf debut.
