PGA Tour: Zalatoris to lead off four-timer…

The U.S. PGA Championship enters its third day with our pre-tournament selection, Scottie Scheffler, already heading home. With this in mind we’re going to have a look at some of today’s twoballs to come up with a betting plans.

At the top of the leaderboard is Will Zalatoris, one shot clear of Chilean Milo Pereira. Both are young players, but Zalatoris is vastly more experienced at this level and he showed he doesn’t feel overawed on such an occasion when finishing runner-up in last year’s Masters. We’ll take the American to win this twoball.

Next up is Justin Thomas and Bubba Watson. JT has been one of the most impressive players in the two rounds to date, shooting two 67s in the worst of the windy conditions. He’s a confident pick to top Watson who has a miserable Majors record outside of the Augusta.

Our third selection comes from further down the leaderboard, with Sam Burns taking on Gary Woodland. Burns shot an easy three-under in round two and looked like he was getting to grips with the course. He has been one of the form players of the PGA Tour, and we’ll take him to get the better of Woodland.

Finally in the battle of the Camerons, we’re going to side with the Australian variety, Cameron Smith, to outplay his American namesake, Cameron Young. Smith has been playing very well, claiming two wins this PGA season. He enjoys windy conditions and putts like a god, enough said!

Recommendation:

Zalatoris, Thomas, Burns and Smith to win their twoballs as an accumulator, 1 pt, at approximately 7/1, widely available
