Monday Yankee: Mota racing …

The Daily Yankee:

Motahassen, (1455 Thirsk), 9/2:  has only had three quiet maiden runs in Ireland.  Has now joined the flying O’Meara yard for his seasonal and handicap debut off a low rating of 60.  Bred to be s lot better than that mark and is in the right hands to rattle up a winning sequence.

Dark Defender, (1605 Thirsk), 7/2:  tried to make all in a Doncaster sprint on reappearance only to be overhauled late on but still finishing 3rd in a race that is working out well.  Can grab the near rail from his draw, and this speed favouring track can see him make all this time.

Dragstone Rock, (1810 Windsor), 9/4:  After three quiet all weather maiden runs, he ran a cracker on handicap and turf debut last week when runner up at Pontefract. Runs off the same mark here and the easier track can see him hold on this time.

Petitioner, (1910 Windsor), 2/1:  lightly raced contender from a top yard taking on a field of mostly exposed types.  After winning his maiden last year he ran a decent second at Newmarket.  Look the type to improve a lot as a 4yo, starting here.
