Wednesday Yankee: Way to go…

The Daily Yankee

NAP OF THE DAY:  The Dubai Way, (1510 Chepstow), 1pt win, 8/1 generally available

This fella is one of the most promising sorts in the useful Harry Whittington yard.  He was a gutsy hurdler last year before and promises to be useful over fences.  He will enjoy this galloping test more than the sharp turns of Southwell last time, and can soringva small surprise off what looks a potentially generous mark.

Kick On Kick On, (1415 Nottingham), 11/4:  has had a useful 3yo season and ran well when a close third last week.  Has a short head to find with Mirza, but as much the younger horse he is definitely open to greater improvement and can turn the tables.

Settimo Milanese, (1435 Chepstow), 3/1:  we were all over this lightly raced type on handicap debut at Aintree when he ran a blinder to be 2nd of 16 well in front of the rest.  This doesn’t look as good and he gets in on the same mark.

Show Palace, (1450 Nottingham), 13/2:  was a rare big bet for us here last time when just about everything went wrong.  Hopefully he’ll get a bit more cover, a smoother run, and be tracking the tight pace.  Could leave that last form miles behind granted a more favourable run.
