The extended Premier League weekend ends tonight with Burnley hosting Newcastle at Turf Moor.
Both teams are languishing near the foot of the table and will be looking upon this game as the source of three important points.
Newcastle registered back to back wins before the international break but Burnley also secured a key away point at Leicester.
We were impressed with the solid nature of Burnley’s defense last time out, and we think Newcastle will struggle to score away from home. A goalless draw is a distinct possibility, but we think Burnley will edge a tight game. While the 7/2 on offer for the home side to win to nil does appeal, we’ll go for a 1-0 score.
