Six Nations: Wales can win without trying…

The Six Nations kicks off with the traditionally close scrap between hosts France and title dark horses Wales.

There is no doubt Wales arrive as the form team off nine straight wins whilst the French are at one of their lowest ebbs.

Nonetheless the French are nothing if not physical, and will look to control  the game with power rugby, much like the 20 added minutes camped on the line that resulted in a narrow win two years ago.

Victory is all important in the first round of games, and whilst we think Wales will ultimately have too much for a limited French outfit, don’t expect it to be fast and loose.

Indeed Bet365’s 14/1 about the first tryscorer being No Try looks a worthwhile insurance play for what could be a bore fest.  Penalty tries (France’s leading contender!) don’t count.

Recommendation: No Try (First Try Scorer), 1pt win, 14/1 Bet365
