The Premier League program which started last night finishes this evening, with the highlight being Arsenal’s visit to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United.
The Gunners are flying high after their comprehensive victory in the North London derby on Sunday, and bring a 19 match unbeaten run in all competitions with them up north. That said, they have a poor record at Old Trafford and will be looking for their first league win in 12 years.
It’s tempting to write off this United side, after all they were torn apart at home earlier this season by the same Spurs side which Arsenal just beat. However, they have shown ability and guts on occasions – the comebacks against Juventus and Manchester City spring to mind.
Buy we were impressed with the way Arsenal rebounded after going behind to Spurs on Sunday. Key to that was the dominant midfield performance of Uruguayan Lucas Torreira. The Gunners are going to need to all action play to get a result today, and we’ll take a punt on this growing presence winning the man of the match award.
